Miriam's dress is rose with a pale champagne contrast (contrast fabrics are used on the bustles with the primary fabric and sparingly on the jackets) . Her cloak is a warm brown with brown fur trim to be used on the cloak and to be used as a muff. Her party version will be a bodice in the same rosy color with small cap sleeves.
Kiki's dress is made from a rich teal - could not capture the color for anything - much darker, much more vibrant. Her contrast fabric (contrast fabrics are used on the bustles with the primary fabric and sparingly on the jackets) is a rich gold satin. Her day cloak is a DARK GRAY - almost black - fabric and her trim/muff are also gray (with a touch of brown). Sorry the colors are so off in this picture. I tried to fix it but it all went wonky.
Mama Hobart gets a purple jacket over a champagne skirt with a fur stole. There are many shades of gold and champagne among the ladies but they are all slightly different...
Ernestine, our sober older sister, gets a dark forest green but her contrast fabric is a shiny striped affair that reveals her true feistiness.
